Carlos J. Torres 78, of New Windsor, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 25, 2018. He was born in Ponce , Puerto Rico on April 24, 1940 to the late Lao and Francisca Torres. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He worked his entire career at Albert Einstien Medical Center in the Bronx until he retired. Carlos is survived by his loving sons Carlos and Frank, daughters-in-law, Audra and Damaris, grandchildren Katherine, James, Joseph, Adriana, and Frank Jr., great grandchildren Kaylin and Christian, sisters Tellin and Gladys and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2018 from 4:00PM – 9:00PM at TJ McGowan and Sons Funeral Home, 71 North Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 11:30AM at TJ McGowan and Sons Funeral Home followed immediately by burial at Gethsemene Cemetery, Rockland Lake, NY.
