Carmela Zanzarella, 86, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2014 at Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, FL. She was born on May 31, 1928 in Yonkers, NY. In 1947, Carmela married Adolph “Duffy” Zanzarella and is predeceased by him. “Mel” was the amazing mother of Lisa (Lamar) Simmons of Haines City, FL, of Louisa (Anthony) Bosco of Marlton, NJ, two sons Anthony and Robert of Florida, and a grandson Christopher (Lisa) Zanzarella of Wayne, PA. Mel was energetic and considered "one-of-a-kind" by all who had the blessing of knowing her and her shining light will be missed. Services will be private. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton. www.GriffithCline.com
