GOMEZ, Carmen Maria, 74, of Wesley Chapel, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Carmen's strong faith in God made her a very giving and loving person. She had a tender heart and family meant the world to her. Carmen enjoyed telling jokes and making others happy. She is survived by husband Juan Antonio Gomez; Daughters, Jeannette Torres and Divian Pinero; Sister, Erika Del Valle; Six Grandchildren, Ronald Torres, Madelyn Torres Escudero, Jazmin Mercado, Annette Torres Duarte, Kermit Mercado and Judy Diaz; Eleven grandchildren, Justin A. Guzman, Jazalyn Rivas, Tatiana K. Escudero, Grace N. Escudero, Gabriel J. Perdomo, Ryan Torres, Lucas S. Duarte, Logan J. Escudero, Marcus P. Duarte, Noel Torres and Christopher Jr. Duarte. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Loyless Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014.
