Carol Barton
July 1st, 1950 - July 27th, 2016
Carol Barton, 66, of Centralia, Washington, passed Wednesday the morning of July 27, 2016, at her residence due to heart failure. She was born July 1, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Joseph and Katherine LaBarge. She moved to Washington State with her family, where she met her husband of 48 years, Gene Barton. Her loving and fiercely generous spirit showed through in her family, giving all she had at any moment. Through her many trials and hardships in her life, she remained upbeat and ready to do all that was necessary for her family She possessed a unique creative style that was all her own, and showed that creativity in the food she prepared, crafts she made, and traditions she maintained. She is survived by her husband, Gene Barton; sons, Anthony Barton and his husband Carlos Contreras and Jamie Barton and his wife Kristen; daughter, Angie Barton and her fiancé, Paula; grandchildren, Bryson and his wife Tabitha, Tate Barton, Leslie Erwin, and Alexis Barton; great grandchild, Xander Barton; brothers, Michael LaBarge, Steven Stubbs; sisters, Lucy Davis and Arby Sickles; and other relations, James Mortimer, Taylor Young and Malaya Miller.
