Lexington – Carol F. Botkin, 71, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Robert Botkin. Carol was born in Lexington on February 10, 1947 to the late John W. and Grace V. Featherston. Carol was a member of East Hickman Baptist Church, worked many years at Rupp Arena, attended Eastern Kentucky University where she earned her Masters in Education. She was then employed by Fayette County Public School System for more than 30 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Morris (Melody) Featherston, sisters in law, Susan Botkin and Suzette Featherston, and several nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John “Billy” Featherston and David W. Featherston. A memorial service will be Saturday March 17, 2018 at 12 noon at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Rev. Kevin Davidson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10AM until 12. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to East Hickman Baptist Church and Samaritan’s Purse. www.clarklegacycenter.com
