Carol Lynne Capper
September 6th, 1961 - January 8th, 2019
Carol was born to Calvin W. (deceased) and Joanne M. Capper September 6, 1961 in Norman, Oklahoma. She loved life, family, friends and animals. Carol graduated from Satellite Beach High School in 1979. She lettered in track and field events. She was awarded a scholastic scholarship to the University of Florida. After the onset of multiple sclerosis, Carol moved to New York state for the drier climate. In later years she was hospitalized at Ferncliff Hospital and Nursing home in Rhinebeck, New York until she passed away peacefully at age 57 on January 8, 2019. She was attended by the same nursing staff who loved her through those years. Carol is survived by her mother, Joanne M. Capper; one brother, Cary W. (Nancy Eisenhauer) Capper; two nephews, Christian Wade and Noah Thomas Capper. She has one uncle, Richard (deceased)Dean(Barbara Adams) Moon, 3 cousins and one aunt, Shirley Capper (Milton (deceased) Skov), and 3 cousins. Carol, being a water nymph, asked her father for scuba lessons. They both took those scuba lessons and Carol, at age 9, became one of Florida's youngest certified scuba divers. Her ashes will be buried near Molasses Reef off Key Largo, Florida where the family made many dives and her father's ashes were placed. A memorial service will be held February 2 at 1:00PM at Beach Funeral Home - East, 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, Florida with friend, Scott Whipple, officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service. All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
