Lexington, KY Carol J. Carrier, 71, born May 5, 1944 in Hyden, KY, was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Carol was a member of the Revival Tabernacle Church on Versailles Road. Carol loved to grow beautiful flowers, her own vegetable garden, swing on the porch and showed love to everyone that met her. She is survived by her husband Danny Carrier, daughter Connie (Mark) Wise and step-daughters Tammy Bentzen and Tabitha Carrier; five sisters; Mary Lou (Bobby) Lawson, Lillian (Johnnie) Cole, Doris Coots, Connie Jones (JT) and Marie (Tim) Maggard; four brothers Edward, Alex, Glenn and Larry Merrill; eight grandchildren Michael Blaine, and Adam Blake Blair, Hayley, Hayden and Skylar Wise, Tyler Carrier, Brandon Fannin and Hunter Bentzen. She is preceded in death by her parents Levi and Fern Merrill; brothers Burnice, William, Danny and Denver Ray Merrill and her daughter Debra Lynn Blair. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 12-2 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2016, followed by a Funeral Service at 2 and burial at Hillcrest Cemetery at 3:30 PM.
