Carol A. Friedrichsohn

Carol A. Friedrichsohn (nee Frankow) passed away peacefully on August 18, 2024, at the age of 82. Born in Green Bay, WI, to Weston and Anne Frankow, Carol spent her life embodying the values of kindness, dedication, and love. In 1964, Carol married the love of her life, Rick, and together they built a family that became the center of her world. She worked as a lead monitor tech at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, where her commitment to her work and her colleagues was unparalleled. Carol was also a member of the Eastern Star and Ascension Lutheran Church, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment. Carol was a devoted mother who always put her children first, ensuring she was present for every event, large or small. Her joy was found in the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She never missed a single event in their lives, and her presence was a constant source of love and encouragement. Whether attending the Fireside or simply sharing a meal, Carol cherished the moments spent with her family. Her kind soul and constant smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Carol will be deeply missed by her loving children: Anne Margaret "Meg" (Brian) Galaska, Jodi (Patrick "Todd") Mehling, and Eric (Kerry) Friedrichsohn. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jessica Douglas, Mackenzie (Paul Saldivor) Mehling, Rebecca (Dylan) Johnson, Sean Mehling, Samantha Friedrichsohn, Tristan Friedrichsohn, Carly Mehling, Samantha (Jack) Tuescher, and her great-grandchildren: Wyatt, PJ, Max, Conner, and Rory, sister in laws; Kathy Zachow and Reberta Frankow. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rick, her grandchilden Jacob Galaska and Amanda, both parents, and her brother Jim. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the start of services at 10:30 a.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial will be held privately
