Carol Sue Rowley Glasmann
October 28th, 1948 - August 17th, 2024
Carol Sue Rowley Glasmann
Carol was born to Delbert T. Rowley and Pearl N. Johnson on October 28, 1948, in Denver, CO. Her siblings included: Glenn (Jeri), Randy (Kitty) and Nancy. The family moved to Westminster, where Carol attended school through her Jr. Year of high school. The family then moved to California where Carol graduated from Luther Burbank High in Sacramento and promptly moved back to Colorado. She worked several jobs including the Adams County Sherriff’s Department, Teamsters Local 17 and United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 7.
In 1972 Carol married Raymond Glasmann, the love of her life. They were blessed with a daughter BreeAnne. Carol and family lost Raymond 23 years ago, in 2001, missing him every day. In 2005, Carol’s granddaughter Desiray was born and immediately became the light of her life and her best little buddy.
Carol volunteered often and in several ways: reading for the blind, typing (at almost world record speed) and organizing data, delivering meals/coffee and teaching Sunday School. With Ray an active member of the Sabers Car Club Carol often volunteered her computer and typing skills for their events. Her favorite pastimes included reading, playing games (especially word games!) stargazing, road trips and visiting Las Vegas or Blackhawk.
Carol passed peacefully at home on August 17, 2024, survived by BreeAnne, Desiray, Nancy, Jeri, Kitty and many nieces and nephews and many very good friends.
Services are scheduled for September 28th at 1:00pm at Shepard of the Hills Presbyterian church in Lakewood Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League.
