Carol Dee Greenetz

Carol Dee (nee Schriver) Greenetz, 78, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Legacy Born in Philadelphia and raised in Bellmawr, New Jersey, Carol was a prenatal secretary for Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. Before her career at Virtua, she waitressed at the Grand Coach Grill and Settlers Inn, was a school bus attendant for children with special needs, and was a babysitter at Katz Jewish Community Center. Carol also served meals and looked in on her neighbors at Shepherd’s Farm Senior Housing. Recently, she had been participating in her daughter’s fitness class at B’nai B’rith apartments where she was welcomed into the group with open arms. A sweet, strong, and resilient lady; Carol was the oldest of seven, a mother figure to everyone, and the matriarch of her family. With her nurturing nature, it is no wonder that she had a soft spot for children and babies, but everyone knew that her grandson Jaydon was the apple of her eye. Carol loved taking family trips to Ocean City, Ship Bottom, and the Philadelphia Flower Show. Family gatherings will not be the same without her famous cheesecake and special eggnog. Her cake decorating skills came in handy with many baking crafts shared with Jaydon. She will be missed by all those that loved her. Family Cherished mother of Amber "AJ" and her wife, Stacy; devoted grandmother of Jaydon and dear sister of Victoria Schriver, Christine Strey, Charles Schriver, Jr. and Paul Schriver. Carol is survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and predeceased by her parents, Charles and Clara (nee Kaufmann) Schriver and siblings, June and Joseph Schriver. Carol will be sadly missed by her furry feline, Baby. Farewell Tribute A Celebration of Carol's life will be announced at a later date.
