Hubener (75), a 48 year resident of Merritt Island has died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 leaving her husband of 58 years, Allen (Bucky) Hubener, 2 daughters, Jill Goff and Patricia Eldridge, 3 grandsons, Allen Goff, Brian Goff, Adam Eldridge and a granddaughter, who preceded her in death, Megan Eldridge. Happy to be a stay at home mom, she enjoyed her volunteering years with the Red Cross and Girl Scouts of America. She worked many years with Carnival Cruise Lines as a Ticket Agent and Hello Florida as a Tour Guide. In lieu of flowers, prayers and donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes and Crematory, 101 N. Brevard Av., Cocoa Beach on Saturday, July 12th at 2:00 followed by a gathering at 1440 Sykes Creek Dr. Merritt Island to celebrate the life and wonderful memories of Carol.
