Carol Joanne Marshall, 85 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away Monday October 16th to join her loving husband, Albert Henry Marshall. Carol was born in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, Joseph and Virginia Winnie on December 24th, 1937. Carol and Al moved to Florida in 1976 with her six children. She was a successful accountant auditor for over 30 years for AAA auto club. Carol was loved by all that knew her. She was a great friend to many, had a strong will, and a large personality with enormous spirit. She loved all family celebrations, especially the Christmas holidays. Carol was a loving Mother to six children: Ken Layman, Kim DeVito, Kirk Layman, Kelly Corazza (Paul), Kerri Smaridge (Anton) and Kaileen Legard (Preston). Carol was a dear grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 13 ½ great grandchildren. Carol is predeceased in death by her parents: Joeseph and Virginia Winnie; and her brother: Joseph Winnie. Carol leaves behind brother: Lawrence Winnie; and three sisters: Janet Dilworth, Mary Lahey, and Gerianne Decker. Carol will be dearly missed by all.
