Carol “Diane” Parker was born on August 19th, 1941 and passed away at 82 years old on July 7th, 2024. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Diane graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1959.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Parker, her brother Gary Pricher, and her sons Jeffery Parker and Waldo “Buster” Parker Jr.. She is survived by her siblings Dale Pricher, Neal Pricher, and Ina Joyce Wilson; her daughters Debra Apperson, Julie Browning, and Kathy Korver; her grandchildren Aaron Apperson, Sheena Moody, Ashlee Browning, Allen Browning, Jason Korver, Jeffery Korver, Jessica Korver, Hannah Nese, Amy Parker, Holly Parker; and their children.

Diane was an incredibly selfless and loving individual, her and her husband fostering infants for 40 years alongside caring for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She loved crafting of all kinds including sewing (especially masks in 2020), cross stitching, card making, quilting, scrapbooking, and more. Her favorite things included the color purple, hummingbirds, putting together puzzles, baking, and cheering for “her boys” Victor Hedman and Brayden Point on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Diane’s celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on August 18th, 2024, with a gathering starting at 1:00pm, at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home (2201 Dr Martin Luther King Jr St N). The family requests that everyone wears purple in her memory.
