Carol Ann Poletto
August 6th, 1946 - March 15th, 2014
CAROL ANN POLETTO - OBITUARY Carol Ann Poletto, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 15th, 2014, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Carol was born on August 6, 1946 in Astoria, New York to the late John and Lucille Burke. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Hank, her 2 children Pamela Jean Kaising (Kevin) and Laura Ann Reid (Chris), and her 4 grandchildren: Madison, Logan, Liam and Juliann. She also leaves behind her sisters Jacqueline, Deborah, Virginia, Pat, and brother Robert. Carol was very active in her church, St. John the Evangelist, from its inception in 2001. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan and finally as the leader of the Eucharistic Ministry. She also enjoyed her membership in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, serving as secretary for many years. Carol was always a great athlete and especially loved playing golf-first with the Harris Ladies League and then with the Cocoa Beach Ladies golf Club, The Upper East Coast League and The Baytree Women's Golf Association. Her greatest joy was besting her husband. Carol truly cared for everyone she knew, always putting aside her own problems to help others. That's why everyone who got to know her fell in love with her very quickly. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic church in Viera on Saturday, march 22nd at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local charity of your choice. You may sign Carol's guest book at Beckman-Williamson.com.
