Carol Vickers

Mrs. Margaret Carol Vickers, age 59 (August 10, 1954) of Winter Haven was taken home on December 17, to be with the Lord that she loved and faithfully served for 50 years. Her strength and devotion to the Lord never wavered, even until her journeys end at home from cancer. Carol was a native of Charleston, West Virginia and had been a resident of Winter Haven for the past 13 years coming from Polk City. She was a certified Optician and was a member of Dundee Baptist Church on the Hill. She was preceded in death by her son Shawn Curtis Vickers and father Orville Forrest Cain. Survivors include her Husband John Vickers of Winter Haven; Daughter Shannon Tippett of Winter Haven, Granddaughter Meghan Tippett of Winter Haven; Mother and Step Father Thelma and Papa Bill Bunting of Charleston, West Virginia; four Brothers Butch (Sunshine) Cain of Elkview, WV, Eddie (Beverly) Cain of Satellite Beach, Fl., Tommy (Sonia) Cain of Port St. Lucie, Fl., and Randy (Brenda) Cain of Elkview, WV; Sister Dolly (Bobby) Campbell of Charleston, WV., a special Nephew Patrick Campbell of Cross Lanes, WV., and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
