Carole E. Goldblatt

Carole Goldblatt, 82, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away Nov. 13, 2015. Carole was a loving mother, and retired after 20 years of service as an executive secretary for PathMark Supermarkets. During her active retirement, she worked as a receptionist at Homewood Residence, volunteered as a receptionist at South Bay Hospital, and was a member of the Canasta Club and Mah Jongg Club of Sun City Center, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Goldblatt, and her sister, Nancy Hyland. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Lee Goldblatt and her faithful and loving canine companion, Melynda; and her son, Norman Paul Goldblatt and his husband, George Doomany. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at Carole's residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Pkwy., Marietta, Ga. 30067. Arrangements are by Sun City Center Funeral Home, (813) 634-9900.
