Carole Sue Kalman, age 71, passed away in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 20, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Ali; son, Josh; granddaughter, Kylee; and sister, Linda. Carole was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on November 20, 1952. She loved sports, spending time with her family, teaching Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Donations in memory of Carole may be made to: Stonybrook or Gatenby Lab (Select other & type in “Gatenby lab”) to find a cure for cancers.

We met Carole for the first (and only) time in mid November while she was attending a conference at Palm Coast (FL). We shared a meal with Carole & Sheldon. She was a fun person to break bread with - we enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her. Very sad to see her sudden passing. Condolences to the family and to Sheldon.
