Carolee Ayers
April 15th, 2013
Carolee Ayers, 78, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully at home April 15, 2013 after a short illness. It was her desire to slip off to Glory to be with her Heavenly Father, and she did so with her family present. Carolee was born in Longdale, Oklahoma, on January 23, 1935, to Theodore and Bertha Healy. The family, including her older brother Ray, moved to Idaho when she was a year old. They built their home in Notus, where Carolee attended school all twelve grades. After graduating from Notus High School, she worked as a bookkeeper at Montgomery Ward in Nampa. Carolee married John Crooks in 1954, had two children, Myrna and Steven, and lived happily in Nampa for many years. John passed away in January 1987. In September 1988, Carolee married Donald Ayers of Melba, and together they enjoyed nearly 25 years of loving companionship. Carolee is survived by her beloved husband Don, her daughter Myrna and son-in-law David, her son Steve and daughter-in-law Laneita, granddaughter Erin, grandson Blake and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centennial Baptist Church, 3610 E Ustick Rd, Caldwell, ID 83605, or in the name of Carolee to the M.S.T.I.
