Krieger, Caroline Pearl 84, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Born in Buffalo, New York, she came here in 1975 from Alaska. Life with her late husband, Staff Sgt. John August Krieger, Ret. US Army, took her and her children all over the United States. Caroline was the first Major in the Women's Civil Air Patrol of Buffalo, NY, and later, while living in Orlando, she participated in the Sheriff's Task Force. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Yeager (John); sons, John Krieger (Bobbie), Thomas Krieger (Shirley), and Kenneth Krieger (Diane); grandchildren, Zack, Taylor, Kyra, and Ariana Krieger and Jessica Yeager; and great grandson, Kayden Yeager. There will be a visitation from 1- 3 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK St. N., St. Petersburg where a funeral service will be held at 3 PM.
