Caroline Morrow Patton, 93, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019. She was born June 21, 1925 in Gastonia, North Carolina, where she lived most of her life until she retired to Lake Murray and West Columbia. A retired X-ray technician and schoolteacher, she was a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and enjoyed a long career at Garrison General Hospital and the Gaston County School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Glenn Patton. She is survived by her son, Stoney Patton (Maria) of West Columbia; granddaughters, Allison Ashley (Matt) and Christian Huggins (Cole); and her great-grandchildren, Caroline Cantrell, Maddox Ashley and Rosie Max Huggins. A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, April 15th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Providence Presbyterian Church, 1112 Hummingbird Drive, West Columbia, SC 29169. A visitation with family will follow.
