Carolyn ChambersPLEASANT HILL — A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 20, at the Hult Center in Eugene for Carolyn Silva Chambers of Pleasant Hill, who died Aug. 8 of cancer. She was 79.She was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Portland to Julio and Elizabeth McDonnell Silva. She married Richard Chambers on Dec. 14, 1963, in Eugene. He died May 25, 1986.She graduated from Eugene High School and held a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Oregon. She was the owner and operator of the Chambers family of businesses.Survivors include three sons, William of Corvallis, Scott of Pleasant Hill and Clark of Salem; two daughters, Elizabeth Chambers and Silva Chambers Sullivan, both of Eugene; and 10 grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Medical Foundation for cancer research and education or the Eugene Symphony.
