IRVIN, Carolyn, 65, of Plant City passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009. She was born December 11, 1943 in Lexington, Kentucky. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Froman Irvin. She was a devoted wife, mother and a caring nurse. Carolyn really tryed to do what was right for the people around her. Her primary hobby was growing orchids, her favorite flower. Carolyn was a Kentucky Colonel, an honorary appointment by the governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She loved talking on the telephone and caring for her dog "Tommy". She is survived by her sons, Ronald Bruce Monroe Irvin and Sean Mitchell Irvin and his wife, Janet; granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Irvin; brother, Johnny Gordon and his wife, Faye; nieces, nephews, many cousins; family and friends.
