Carolyn McIntyre Joule, 81, died peacefully on May 18, 2021, at the home of her daughter, Kristin Joule Brownlee. Carolyn was born on November 6, 1939, in Albuquerque, NM., to Robert and Ruth McIntyre. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and enjoyed traveling the world and loved her career of teaching Montessori and pre-school children for twenty plus years. Carolyn is preceded in death by her first-born son, Kevin C. Joule; sister Margaret Ortega; nephew Paul Weber; and her former husband Kenneth R. Joule. She is survived by her son Corey T. Joule; sister Mary Ellen Weber; niece Kelly Weber; and nephew David Ortega. She is also survived by many cousins and extended family. Carolyn was a cherished mother, beloved sister and aunt. She was a friend to many and had a smile and laugh for everyone. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date and time.
