Carolyn Dorothy Koenig, 82, Cambridge, passed away at home on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Carolyn was born on November 18, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Gilbert and Hildegard (Lehman) Tews. She graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School . Carolyn married Ronald Koenig on June 6, 1959 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. She worked for many years as a receptionist for several medical doctors in Milwaukee and Fort Atkinson. After retirement she and Ron owned a veal farm in Milford area. They then moved to Cambridge where they have lived since 1979. Carolyn enjoyed gardening and crafting.. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lake Mills. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ron of Cambridge; brother Edward "Tony" Tews, Florida; neighbors who she considered children, Brian and Jenny Waugh, Helenville. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Tews. There will be no formal services at this time.
