Joyce Krieger Schilp Oct. 5, 1938 ~ Oct. 14, 2010 Resident of Clayton Joyce Krieger Schilp died in the care of Hospice of the East Bay on October 14 after a short, but valiant battle with cancer. She was a noted musician and singer and a 40-year member of the Masterworks Chorale at Diablo Valley College. She also sang with local Clayton Choir, Yesterday's Kids, and the Blackhawk Community Chorus in Danville. She was a pianist, organist and choir director at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Alberta Way in Concord and an avid quilter. She is survived by her husband of one year, William Schilp; her daughter Linda Smith of Brentwood and sons Wendell Doman of Walnut Creek and Steve Doman of Clayton; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be on Oct. 20 at 11am at the LDS Church, 1360 Alberta Way in Concord. Interment will follow at Oakmont Cemetery, Lafayette.
