Carolyn M. Otto , 79 , of Pattersonville , New York, passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital Amsterdam with her family at her side. Born in Gloversville, on on December 23, 1937 a daughter of the late Heinz and Martha Vaupel. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Gloversville Schools. Carolyn was a homemaker and took wonderful care of her family through the years. She married John G. Otto on December 2, 1956. He passed away on May 22, 2014. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn M. Otto of Pattersonville, NY. One son, John Otto. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs. At Mrs. Otto's request there are no calling hours or funeral services. Interment will take place later in the spring in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com
