Carrie Amerika Jayne Brooks
August 18th, 1984 - June 16th, 2018
Carrie Brooks, 33, of Lexington, KY passed away peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home. Carrie was born August 18, 1984 to the late Libby Brooks and Marty Farley. She is survived by her Aunt Mary Jane Blankenship (Wendell and Children/Grandchildren) of Michigan; the Will to her Grace, Justin Kilgore, and a multitude of lifelong friends who she loved like family. Many fur-babies held such a special place in her heart to which she was their mother or aunt. Carrie was so full of love and light, that she lit up a room with her contagious smile and laugh. She believed that everyone was deserving of love and wanted to share that belief with all those she encountered. With an affinity for color and glitter, she never thought there could be too much of either and incorporated it any chance she could. She was a selfless, caring, and supportive soul who put others before herself. She was a supporter God's Pantry Food Bank, AVOL, Lexington Catholic Action, and the Humane Society Friends and family are planning a celebration of life at a later date.
