I will always remember Sandy as being the best neighbor and best friend any person could ask for. She always had a big smile on her face when you came to see her. I will especially remember the wonderful Christmas decorations she and Kat would put on every year that turned the street into a winter wonderland and brought our neighborhood community together. I will miss her dearly.

My heart has been hurting since hearing this news. People do not realize what an impact she had on the lives of friends, colleagues, and hundreds of students. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Cindy, I am so sorry I cannot be there to help celebrate her life. You are in my prayers.

As a widowed, single Mom in the late 1990's, Sandy was a godsend helping keep my basically good daughter on the right path during her Cocoa High years. Two decades later, I moved to Ocean Woods and Sandy became my neighbor. I am sad that I did not get to thank her personally for her influence that helped my daughter become a very confident, successful wife/mom/employee. Hopefully, Sandy understood that when she saw my happy daughter and her husband (another Sandy-influenced student) years later and watched my grandson mesmerized by her and Kate's FABULOUS Christmas street extravaganza. Sandy was such a blessing for TWO generations of my family, and her love will be felt for years and years among other families as well.

I was a student at CBHS in the 70's and Miss Lollis was one of the favorite teachers and counselors. I have wonderful memories of how she helped guide all of us - and helped us prepare for future careers. My prayers and sympathies to her friends and family.
