Taffy Hosea

It’s still so unreal. Beloved wife, mother, sister and dear friend Catherine (Taffy) McLarney Hosea left this plane April 11, 2024. Her adoring husband Jeff, two children James (Sarah) and Michael (Emily) and two grandchildren Henry and Vivienne as well as an incalculable cast of those who considered her friend, mom and teacher remain to remember her legacy. Her humor, compassion, love of nature and thoughtful understanding was magnetic. The awe she found in the otherwise mundane, her strength in turmoil and her unflappable optimism was inspiring. She had great wonder in the stars, the weather, the desert, the sea and the unknown. To whatever lies beyond, tread lightly, for the angel is amongst you. Though sorrow now envelopes the bereaved, her loving memory begs we one day again find joy. 

A mass celebrating Taffy's life will be held at St. Pius X Church (1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo) on Monday May 13th at 10am. An opportunity to gather and share fond memories of her will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charitable organization is encouraged.
