Langford, Catherine Naoma, 89, of Largo and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday, July 21st, 2000 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park. She was born in Washington, D.C. and came to St. Petersburg in 1958 from Silver Spring, MD. She was a sewing instructor for 25 years at the Singer Company in St. Petersburg. She was a member of the St. Petersburg China Painting Guild and a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She moved to Largo in 1999 and became a member of St. Catherine Of Siena Catholic Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Joan Catherine Athey of Largo; Margaret Jean Libby of Gray, ME; 1 son, Joseph William Langford of Franklin, NC; 2 sisters, Rita Marie Risler of Largo; Margaret M. Buecherk of Clearwater; 1 brother, James William Gessford of Lakeland, FL; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel.
