Catherine LeakeThe funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Eugene for Catherine S. Leake of Eugene, who died July 24 of age-related causes. She was 92.Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.She was born March 25, 1918, in Pierre, S.D., to Frank and Lillie Briggs. She married Clyde Leake on Nov. 28, 1936, in Gettysburg, S.D.She attended Cheyenne Agency Boarding School and was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Janice Ray and Leslie Jackson, both of Eugene, and Paula Woods of Junction City; a sister, Helen Lorenz of Eagle Butte, S.D.; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the church’s building fund.
