Catherine M. Schinler

Catherine Marie Schinler, 58, of Seminole, passed away on April 2nd, 2017 at home with her family. She was born on November 19th, 1958 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL, graduated from Wheeling High School, and later moved to Florida with her family in 1990. She is survived by her mother, Carol Lillian Saloga; her siblings George, Charlene, Carol, Christine, Connie; her children Ryan, Bradley, Shannon, and Trisha; and her grandchildren Corey, Jonathan, Jenaly, Kara, Kael, Logan, and Lillian. Cathy was a loving mother and grandmother, and always put her family first in her thoughts and actions. She loved to knit & craft, bake, cook, and spend her time surrounded by her family and friends. Cathy always had new ideas and goals for things she wanted to do with her grandchildren, and spent much of her time thinking about them and enjoying them at her side. She was generous to many of the people who came into her life, helping them get back on their feet and offering guidance to some who felt lost. She was a Girl Scout when she was young, and over the last year, she became very involved and excited with her Daisy girls as Troop Leader, sharing many new experiences with the girls who have shown her so much love and respect. Cathy's strength-of-spirit and loving heart will be remembered by those who knew her. A gathering will be held at ALife Tribute Funeral Care on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
