Catherine F Wasserman

Catherine F. Wasserman, 94, of Charlotte died January 25, 2019 at Levine-Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was born April 29, 1924 in Cochran, GA. daughter of the late Daniel Morgan Forehand and Rosa Clyde Jones Forehand. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Smith Wasserman. Mrs. Wasserman held degree's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and received her Masters degree in Human Development and Learning with an Emphasis on Writing from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She was a homemaker for many years and volunteered with the Mint Museum, Presbyterian Hospital and taught Sunday School and was an active member of Myers Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Wasserman is survived by her children, William Smith Wasserman, Jr., of Sante Fe, NM and Catherine Cox, of Charlotte; 2 grandchildren, Jason Lail and Jenny Nadler; and a nephew, Eddie Nail, of Anderson, SC.
