Cathy Pegram Dowd, 70, of Greensboro, NC, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Born in Greensboro, NC, on July 4, 1953, Cathy was wife of Kirby Lee Dowd and was the daughter of the late Howard Pegram and Nancy Pilkenton Pegram, who survives.
Survivors include her mother, Nancy Pegram; husband, Kirby Dowd; daughter, Christy Loraine Watson and husband, Rick; son; Howard Todd Horner and wife, Delaina; five grandchildren, Brittany Bailey and husband, Tanner, Stephen Bolen and wife, Mollie, Noah Watson and wife, Tatyana, Logan Hackley and husband, Grant, and Landon Horner; two great grandchildren, Emery Bailey and Ava Watson; two sisters, Cynthia Stanley and husband, Lee, and Camille Bryson; and brother, Larry Pegram.
The family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Gospel Baptist Church, 5945 N. Church Street, Greensboro, NC 27455.
A graveside service celebrating Cathy’s life will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC.
