Cecil Lloyd Hart
July 26th, 1942 - December 13th, 2023
Cecil Lloyd Hart, 81 of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his residence following a long illness. Born in Hydro, OK. he had been a resident of Rogersville since 1990. Cecil began his career in the US Army, then served in the US Navy. After the Navy, he immediately began his 40+ year career in the printing industry which allowed him and his wife, Judy, to travel the world together. Cecil and Judy were a warm, loving and hospitable couple who made positive lasting impressions upon the people they encountered. Cecil was preceded in death by his father, Lee Ivan Hart, mother, Imogene Rhoads Hart; daughter, Marion Hart; three brothers, Bonnie Hart, Denny Hart and Vernie Hart; sister, Arreta Hart; and grandson, Ricky Marrs. Cecil is survived by his wife, Judy Hartgrove Hart; daughters, Lori Marrs and Ginger Rowlett; sons, Russell Hart, Randy Hart (Ann) and Steve Rowlett (Donna); grandchildren, Sabrina Howard (Charlie), Ryan Marrs (Leah), Ericka Hart, Alexander Hart, Donald Rowlett II, and Justin Hart; great-grandchildren, Jace Howard, Scarlett Howard, Gregory Gray II, Alijah Carter and Ezra Carter. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill, TN. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel. A military graveside service will be held at 11 am Monday at Church Hill Memory Gardens with the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 conducting the rites. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Hart family.
