Cecil was born in Franklin, Nebraska, he died at the age of 92.  He married Joan Gayle Mathes in 1955.

 

He had two brothers and one sister.  The family came to Oregon in 1946.

He had two sons, Mike and Jim Sanders and one daughter, Caryn (Sanders) Chastain.

 

Cecil served in the United States Navy, was a volunteer fireman for Springfield Fire Department and was an excellent maintenance fabricator at Georgia Pacific Lumber Mill.

 

He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

 

He will be greatly missed.
