Cecilia Blea

Cecilia I. Blea passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Monday August 14th, 2017 at Genesis HealthCare Washington Center in San Leandro California. She was born on December 18th 1924 to Jesusita Montoya and Nestor Chavez in Gallup New Mexico though the family resided in Albuquerque. She married Jose Blea, also of Albuquerque on January 20th 1951. He preceded her in death by 41 years (1976). They celebrated 25 years of marriage prior to his passing. She is survived by their children Elizabeth and Roger Mudrak of Illinois, Howard and Monica Blea of San Leandro, Daniel Blea and Marivic Molo of Pleasanton, Nick and Rebecca Blea of Sonora, Laura and Ron Smith of San Leandro, Teresa and Michael Kaimis of Ceres, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by us all, but always loved in our memories of her. A Viewing will take place on Tuesday August 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church on Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:14 PM.
