Cecilia Eileen Maestas, aka "Sunshine" age 61, of Talpa, NM, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, April 14th, 2018. She was born on April 21st, 1956 in Des Montes, NM. Â She is proceeded in death by her parents Escolastico Martinez and Alicia Duran Martinez, & Brother Andrew Martinez, Father in law Andres Maestas and Mother in law Eloisa Maestas, Brother in laws Jose Alex Maestas, Ralph Maestas, Landy Maestas, Manuel Andres Maestas Jr, and Joe Romero; Sisters in law Guillerma Romero, Ester Santistevan. Â She is survived by her husband of 43 years Manuel Antonio Maestas. Daughters Sharon (Sammy) Gonzales, Loralee Maestas (Randall), Victoria (Anthony) Montoya. Grandsons Patrick & Derrick Gonzales, Granddaughters Brianna & Marisol Gorman, & Katelyn Montoya. Great-Grandson Bryan Gonzales and Great-Granddaughter Alyssa Gonzales. Â Brothers Paul (Sylvia) Martinez, Gabby (Bernice) Martinez, Arturo (Bella) Martinez, Esco (Dianna) Martinez, Sisters Tina Martinez (Roger), Anna Marie Martinez (Cordy), Margarita (Mark) Johnson, Romey (Albert) Gonzales, Lorencita (Charlie) Romo, Lucille (Mike) Apodoca. Â God Children Gabriel Gonzales, Francisco Pacheco, Ritchie Walker, Sammy Gonzales, and Tiffany Maestas. Â Brother in laws Ubaldo (Linda) Maestas, Anastacio (Kathy) Maestas, Ray Santistevan; Sisters in law Tomasita Maestas, Bernie Maestas, Corine (Eugene) Valdez, Josie Maestas, and Dorothy Maestas and many other relatives and friends. Â Rosary will be held on Friday April 20th at 7:00 pm at the San Francisco de Asis Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 21tstat 1:00 pm at the San Francisco de Asis Church in Ranchos de Taos. Burial will follow at the Talpa Cemetery.
