All-States Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Cecilia "Ciel" Partridge
October 18th, 1959 - October 24th, 2015
Cecilia Marie Partridge “Ciel” was born October 18th 1959 in Denver Colorado as one of nine children to Jeanne (Parenteau) Partridge and Roy P. Partridge. Ciel’s mother Jeanne later remarried Bob Huey who was a caring father to her. Cecelia changed her name to Ciel later in life, but childhood friends and schoolmates would know her as Cecilia. Ciel grew up in the Montclair neighborhood in Denver, attending St. James grade school. The Partridge family were longtime parishioners of the St. James Catholic church on 13th and Oneida. Throughout life, Ciel spent time living not only in Denver, but also in Northern Colorado and Washington state. Ciel had a deep, lifelong love of music, and saved her money as a child to buy an upright piano that remained in the Partridge household for decades. At holiday gatherings in the house on 11th street, piano music was regularly heard rising up from the basement where Ciel would play her own compositions. Mostly self-taught, Ciel later played in various bands as an adult, gathering close friendships along the way. Ciel’s creativity went beyond music. Later in life, Ciel became an accomplished photographer, regularly selling her beautiful works. Her photography career blended nicely with her deep love of nature producing countless breathtaking landscapes and wildlife photos. Ciel had one daughter. She inherited Ciel’s love of music and photography and is an accomplished photographer and musician in her own right. Ciel followed her daughter to Washington State, where she resided for the later years of her life. Ciel passed from this life on October 24, 2015 and is survived by her daughter, her siblings, Patrick Partridge, Joann Partridge Givan, Paul Partridge, and Julia Partridge Sasson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ciel was preceded in death by her mother Jeanne Huey, her step father Bob Huey, her father Roy P. Partridge, and her siblings Marianne (Partridge) Doles, Jeanine (Partridge) Rosetti, Phillip Partridge, and Roseann Partridge.
