Celeste Y. Carey 59 , died at St. Joesph Hospital on March 3, 2013. The cause was Cardiac Arrest. Born April 27, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she lived in many places, but called Tacoma her home and worked most recently in Social Services after retiring in 1994 from the Army as Sergeant First Class. Celeste was a advocate for all Foster children, working tediously in changing the world to make society a better place. She always put other in front of her own needs. Her honesty is what made her noble. She was a pillar of strength and a inspiration to all who met her and will be greatly missed. Survivors include a son, Jed Carey, daughter in-law Christina Carey, Grandsons JaQory Carey, and Alonzo Carey, Brothers Paul(Debra) Davis and James Davis along with her nephew PJ. There will be a gathering at her church to celebrate her life. Please sign Celeste's guest book and there will be a service for Celeste coming up on the 14th for her military service at Tahoma National Cemetery at 3 pm please be atleast 10 min early because they will start at exactly 3pm.
