Celeste L Frazier

Frazier, Celeste L., 71, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away January 28th, 2021 at home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she graduated from Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School For Girls in 1967. She and her family moved to St. Petersburg in 1979. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis J. and Celeste McPeak and her siblings, Francis McPeak and Rosehelena McPeak Cohen. Celeste is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Todd) Yarbrough; son, James (Suzanne Shirk) Frazier; her childrens’ father, Robert (Theresa) Frazier, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Celeste worked at Pediatric Cardiology Associates for the last 25 years. She was an avid sports fan who was forever faithful to her Tampa Bay teams. She was extremely patriotic always taking the opportunity to show her love for her country and those who served it. Celeste’s favorite hobbies always involved spending as much time as possible with her family and friends including picnics, celebrations, cruises, and bowling on a league as a family for many years. Family was her life. There wasn’t a person on earth who wouldn’t be welcomed into Celeste’s family with open arms and an open heart. She was known as “Mama” to so many. She was the most loving, thoughtful, and compassionate woman who always put others first. Her beautiful smile lit up the room and will never be forgotten!! A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1pm with a memorial service at 2pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr MLK Street N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pet Pal Rescue or SPCA of Tampa Bay in honor of Celeste’s love for her dog, BlackJack and her grand-dog, Bella.
