Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Versailles - Charlene Semones Brooks, 64, wife of John "Richard" Brooks, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Mrs. Brooks was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Viola Frances Randall and the late Charles Semones. She was a member of Versailles Church of God, a retired employee of General Electric and a former employee of Dollar General Store. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her step-father, Douglas Randall, of Lexington; her daughter, Dawn Brooks, of Versailles; her brother, Charlie Semones, of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Triston Brooks, Delaynie Brooks and Hailey Brooks. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Brooks. Funeral Information The service will be 11:00AM, Friday, December 5 at Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Frankie Layne officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Tommy Jones, Triston Brooks, Robin Brooks, Jack Brandenburg, Jr, Blake Hager, and Charlie Reed Semones, III. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
