AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Charlene Fields, age 88, of Auburndale, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Auburndale due to heart failure. Mrs. Fields was born in Coal Grove, Ohio and had lived in this area since 1980. She was a retired school teacher and enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Billy Grey Fields and sisters Dolores Sheridan and Jane Dole. Survivors include her daughter Jane (Charles) Deeds of Auburndale, grandson Daniel (Darcy) Deeds of Lakeland, granddaughter Melissa (Russell) Bentley of Destin and 5 great grandchildren, Maxwell Grey Deeds, Cooper Jacob Deeds, Masen Glen Bentley, India Jane Bentley and Georgia Louise Bentley. Funeral services will take place Friday at 11 AM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 10 AM.
