Charlene Norman Charlene Norman passed away at her home in Tacoma, WA on June 20, 2018. She was born on July 27, 1933 in Peru, Illinois to Marie and George Schlosser. She is survived by her husband Col. Kenneth Norman, Ret., her daughter Karen Shea, husband Michael and daughter Lauren; her two sons Jeff Norman, Rick Norman and wife Tina and their 5 children; Kenny and wife Haley and son Wyatt, Cynthia and husband Antonio, George, Katie and Matthew. She had three siblings George Schlosser (d), Mary Ann Jozwiak and Richard Schlosser. She will be forever remembered through her many creative outlets…gardening, sewing, stained glass, doll making and every kind of craft. Her quick wit, laughter. strong will and courage will always be with us. She battled Leukemia with grace and a brave spirit and in the end, she chose to leave the earth on her terms spending her last days at home with family. A quiet gathering of family and close friends will be held on her birthday in July to memorialize her life. A donation in her name can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
