Charles Franklin Green, 87, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. He was born September 13, 1926 in Tampa, Florida and he was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Green, five sisters and one brother. Charlie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie Wills Green; daughter, Deborah Green McCollum(Randall); son, Kenneth Arnold Green; and grandson, Matthew Holden Green. Charlie retired from the US Air Force and after retiring from NASA worked with BAMSI, Inc. until finally retiring for good. Charlie's family wanted to give special thanks for all the care received while under cancer care, Hospice Home Care, William Childs Hospice House and a special thanks to his special friend, Dr. Soloman Zimm. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 525 Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection Out Reach Ministry, Hospice or your choice of a favorite charity.
