Charles "Charlie" Michael Harden

Charles “Charlie” Michael Harden, 81 of Aromas CA passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 at his home in Aromas, CA surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with Cancer. “Charlie” was born in Santa Monica, CA to Charles and Maureen Harden on April 19, 1940. He was married to Barbara Joan Weidman on November 4,1999 in Costa Rica. He graduated from Inter-Lakes High School in Meredith, New Hampshire. Charlie worked in the HVAC air filtration field for over 60 years with his business still in operation. He was an inventor and patent owner of the “OPTI-FRAME”, a specialty air filter framing system that has been installed in many hospitals, biotech facilities, government buildings, gas turbine plants along with many more grand scale projects! Charlie Built and designed a house in Baja and traveled the world. He Loved cars and enjoyed driving his 1998 Jaguar. Loved to be at home in the country sit on the deck, drink coffee and watch the ducks fly into the pond while reading a good book. He shared a special bond and love with his dogs left behind: Sofie, Chester and Buddy along with the countless number throughout his life that he cared for. A unique, generous, and caring man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all. Charlie is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Charles Jr., Stephen, Karen and her husband Rudy Schmidt, his brother Christopher Harden and wife Claudia, Grandchildren: Kyle, Leigha, Erin, Dylan, Jonny, Chloe, Nicholas and Cheryl along with their spouses and many great grandkids. Charlie is preceded in death by his son, Robert G Harden, 52, on May 11, 2016 and both his parents, Charles and Maureen. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 581 Seely Avenue, Aromas CA with Jim and Beth Mazerik Officiating Burial will be at San Carlos Cemetery, Monterey for immediate family member. Arrangements are by Bermudez Family Funeral, Monterey.
