Mr. Charles M. Hill, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 in Statham, GA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9th, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Bagwell officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Charles was born 1 September 1924 in Hazelton, Idaho to Charles E. and Juanita Jones Hill. Brother of 10 siblings. Charles was a cowboy, farmer a U. S. Army veteran, he proudly served during World War II. He retired as a civil servant from Robins Air Force Base in 1985. Charles was predeceased by his wife of 52 years; Susie Nobles Hill, parents, 6 siblings and 1 great grandson. Charles is survived by two daughters; Marilyn Jim Moody of Byron, GA: Carol Greg Giedd of Byron, GA; two sons, Charles E. Susan Hill of Covington, GA; Bill Susan Hill of Statham, GA; 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grand-sons, 1 sister, Ida Charles Johnson of Montrose, CO, 3 brothers; Jim Lucille Hill of Cheyenne, WY, George Hill and Ernie Hill of Montrose, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted however, contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Warner Robins, GA in Mr. Hill’s name. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
