Charles KochA memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Dr. Charles B. “Charlie” Koch of Eugene, who died May 22 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 85.He was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Beckemeyer, Ill., to Anthony and Mamie Dearworth Koch. He married Marjorie Jean Wilson on Dec. 27, 1950, in Ottawa, Ill.He graduated in 1954 from the University of Illinois, Chicago Medical School. He served in the U.S. Army during the end of World War II. He worked at the Eugene Hospital & Clinic in family practice and emergency medicine.Survivors include his wife; two sons, C.B. II of Eugene and Ed of Salem; two daughters, Sue Burns of DePere, Wis., and Pat Mordini of Portland; a brother, Vincent of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Gertrude Jackson of Washington, Ill., and Delores Muni of Breese, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances may be sent to St. Vincent d e Paul.
