Charles B. Kosnik
February 15th, 1915 - June 7th, 2012
Charles Kosnik, longtime resident of Albany, passed away in Tigard, at the age of 97. Charles was born in Portland. He married Margaret in Tigard, and raised his family on a small farm in Albany. He worked at the Simpson Plywood Mill in Albany for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and stay active on his farm gardening and pasturing horses. He did this until dementia made it impossible for him to live alone. Charles is survived by his sons, Gerald and Ronald Kosnik; daughter, Patty Brandt; granddaughter, Cindy Brandt-Sterhan; great-grandson, Merritt Michael Sterhan; and sister, Anna Gallo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Agnes and Steven; and sisters, Stella, Kate, and Mary. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals, Cremation & Burial, Tigard, Oregon.
