Charles Langdon Charles Theodore Langdon passed away on December 18, 2013 at age 50. He was born on February 7, 1963 to his father, George Ernest Langdon and his mother, Janet Mary (Brooks) Langdon. Charles is survived by his father, mother, both of Harrisburg, and his brother Edward E. Langdon of Harrisburg. He graduated from Harrisburg High School and was a Future Farmer of America member. He was the corporate secretary for Langdon & Sons, Langdon Farm and Implement Co. He worked in the office bookkeeping and accounting. In the field he was an expert at round baling and in charge of replanting next year's crop. Charles was the vice president of the Hearing Loss Association of Lane County. He was in charge of the meeting room setup and was the Welcoming Coordinator. He was a volunteer at the WOW Hall in Eugene on the weekends where he would check people's ID's. He collected Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. He liked a good sale especially buy and get one free, at the office supply stores. Charles donated much of these supplies to God’s store and others. A memorial service will be at Harrisburg Christian Church on January 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM. At a later date a private burial will be at Alford Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hearing Loss Association of Oregon in Eugene and God’s Storehouse in Harrisburg. Arrangements entrusted to Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home.
